The third day of our Barcelona trip was greeted with pleasing sunshine. JMI CEO Dr. Bruce Fang and CDA Mr. Onggy Hianata Chunnardy went morning walk before today’s journey started. Mr. Onggy also advocated morning shower and feeding our mind and soul, encouraging our family members to do meditation and absorb positive thinking by reading books and watching videos every morning. This is an effective way to live 3H Lifestyle (Healthy-Happy-Harmony). With a healthy body, our family members were very energetic and perky to continue to explore the charming Barcelona.
The first attraction today was Montserrat mountain, which was a National Park well known for Black Madonna. Hopping on the fast and comfortable tram which offered a beautiful scenery of Barcelona, our family members were so excited and have taken a lot of photos, while they were even more impressed after they arrived the mountain. "Montserrat" literally means "saw mountain" in Catalan and this describes its peculiar shape with multitude of rock formations. After taking a group photo with this magnificent mountain, our family members paid a visit to the church nearby and had an abundant lunch at Montserrat Restaurant. Tasting various kinds of Barcelona delicacies, our family members were completely relaxed, sharing feelings with each other in an ambience of harmony and warmth.
After the enjoyable lunch, we continued our journey to La Rambla and La Boqueria. We passed by Passeig de Gracia on the way, which was one of the most important shopping and business areas in Barcelona, containing several well-known pieces of architecture like Casa Mila and Casa Batllo. After getting off the bus, we arrived La Rambla. It stretches for 1.2 kilometers, while a Spanish poet once mentioned that La Rambla was "the only street in the world which I wish would never end." To express love and care for friends and family, our family members spent a lot of time searching for exotic gifts and souvenirs there. Other than the long shopping street, La Bouqeria is another distinguishing market and a tourist landmark with a very diverse selection of goods. Colorful fruits, fresh seafood, craft beer, you name it. Our family members dived in the crowded market and hunted for tasty local food. They were very content with a full belly after coming out from the market.
At the same time, our VIPs were specially invited to take a cruise to relax. With the gentle breeze and soft sunshine, our VIPs chatted blithely and shared their happy moments in life.
The joyous day ended with a decent dinner at Restaurant Pato Pekin, where our family members enjoyed delicious delicacies. On our way back to the hotel, all the family members shared their awesome experience of the day amid cheers and laughter and they were all looking forward to the glamorous attractions tomorrow!
